SKAdNetwork presents a different approach to campaign measurement where data at the user level is not available. Still, today it remains one of the very few ways to receive the attribution of advertising campaigns on iOS. To make sure it complies with SKAdNetwork, ad networks must register with Apple, and developers must ensure the compatibility of apps with the registered networks and the new framework.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-5145fcb elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"5145fcb\" data-element_type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-8519f9d\" data-id=\"8519f9d\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ba691ed elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"ba691ed\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">What changes should we expect from SKAdNetwork attribution?  \nAnd how Affise tackles them<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-c7c1308 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"c7c1308\" data-element_type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-c6e645f\" data-id=\"c6e645f\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0371060 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"0371060\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ul><li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>No redirects will be allowed<\/strong><\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">With the SKAdNetwork in place, no redirects will be allowed, which puts at risk real-time tracking and fraud detection.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">To avert the risk, Affise is about to release an additional\u00a0<\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">parallel tracking solution<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0for tracking real-time campaigns that will enable detection of click-level fraud. Today, more than ever, we want to emphasize the importance of using click-level in-built fraud protection tools.<\/span><\/p><ul><li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Postbacks delayed by up to 24 hours\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">With the postbacks not sent in the moment of conversion and being further delayed by up to 24 hours, it will become a problem to measure CTIT for fraud prevention. With this regard, there will be an adjustment to CTIT metric, as the time between click and install increases.<\/span><\/p><p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Further, we recommend setting up CR and Click automation to 24 thresholds. In a short period, we will add a 48-period threshold to reflect the nature of probabilistic attribution. All the calculations will be delayed for the Apple attribution time, which is 24 hours.<\/span><\/p><ul><li><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">No more IDFA<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/li><\/ul><p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">As the ATT framework will manage access to the\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.adjust.com\/glossary\/idfa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">IDFA<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0by giving users the choice to block the IDFA identifier at the app level, we should expect the majority to use this option. For marketers, it means no user-level data.<\/span><\/p><ul><li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>All click-conversion attribution will be probabilistic\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">With all attribution going probabilistic, the industry will lose the exact click to conversion matching. Market players will face a new reality with fewer data for fraud-prevention and statistics with real-time data for further analysis.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><ul><li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Required registration with Apple<\/strong><\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Each Ad Network must register directly with Apple and obtain an Ad Network ID. Attribution Postbacks will be delivered by Apple directly to the endpoints defined by Ad Networks. This forces all networks to prepare and adapt to these changes quickly.<\/span><\/p><p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Further, each ID will be limited to 100 campaign IDs, which means that you can only target apps up to 100 different ways in your campaign. You can create up to 100 targeting rules that operate entirely independently from each other and have nothing to do with each other.<\/span><\/p><p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">In some way, it will make campaign IDs a finite &#8220;currency&#8221; marketers exchange with Apple for targeting granularity. Not only advertisers need to prepare their apps and configure the settings. Mobile attribution platform started to work on integration with SKAdNetwork well in advance to be ready when the release is rolled out.
